About Joy

Owner Joy Follendorf began her career in horticulture working at a greenhouse and garden center in high school and while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has continued to work in the horticulture field in Madison for over 20 years, primarily designing, installing and maintaining residential landscapes. She completed a Master Gardener program and continues to seek out educational opportunities to learn new sustainable gardening and landscaping methods.

Joy has great enthusiasm for using native plants and sustainable, environmentally sound landscaping practices. She enjoys working closely with clients to understand their goals and desires for their yards and gardens and encourages their involvement in the design and planting process. Her diverse work experience, coupled with her knowledge about the plants that perform best in Wisconsin, gives her the ability to create unique and beautiful gardens!
